The cTT4 test is a fluorescence immunoassay designed for use with an Immunofluorescence Analyzer. It quantifies the concentration of pancreatic lipase in canine serum or plasma, assisting in the diagnosis and monitoring of pancreatic lipase levels.
For in vitro diagnostic use only. For professional use only.
This assay uses a quantitative competitive fluorescence immunoassay technique. The fluorescence intensity is proportional to the amount of cTT4 captured. The results are expressed in nmol/L or µg/dL.

Store the test kit at 4–30°C until the expiration date.
Perform the test at 18–28°C after opening the Test Device.
Use the Test Device within 30 minutes after opening the pouch.
The test can be used with serum or plasma (EDTA anticoagulant recommended).
Separate serum or plasma from the blood within 3 hours of collection.
Severely hemolyzed specimens should be replaced with fresh ones.
Perform the test immediately after collection if possible. Otherwise, store the specimen at 2–8°C for up to 72 hours. For long-term storage, freeze below -20°C.
Before testing, bring all materials to room temperature. Ensure frozen samples are completely thawed and mixed thoroughly. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Only clear, non-hemolyzed specimens should be used.
Refer to the Immunofluorescence Analyzer Operation Manual for detailed instructions.
Place the Test Device on a clean, flat surface.
Insert the ID Chip into the analyzer and click “Read ID chip.” Ensure the Test Device lot number matches the ID Chip.
Pipette 50 μL of the prepared sample into the cTT4 Sample Buffer and mix gently, avoiding vigorous agitation and foaming.
Add 100 μL of the mixed sample to the sample well (S) on the test device. Avoid bubbles.
Standard Test:
Click “Standard Test,” insert the Test Device into the meter after adding the sample, and click “Start Test.”
Select “Serum/Plasma” as the sample type.
The meter will automatically read and display the test results.
Quick Test:
Click “Quick Test” and start the timer immediately after adding the sample to the well.
Let the Test Device sit for 10 minutes at room temperature (18–28°C).
Insert the Test Device into the meter and click “Start Test.”
Select “Serum/Plasma” and the device will display the result.
Results can be displayed on-screen or printed.
Each cTT4 test contains an internal control for routine quality checks. If an internal control result is invalid, the meter will display an error, and a new test should be performed.
The detection range of cTT4 in canine serum or plasma is 7.5–192 nmol/L (1 nmol/L = 0.0777 µg/dL).
Result (nmol/L) | Result (µg/dL) | Interpretation |
---|---|---|
≤ 15 | ≤ 1.17 | Low |
15–60 | 1.17–4.67 | Normal |
> 60 | > 4.67 | High |
Each laboratory should establish a reference range specific to its population.
For in vitro diagnostic use only.
Inspect packaging and labels before use. Do not use if damaged or expired.
Use a fresh pipette tip for each specimen.
Errors may occur due to procedural issues or interfering substances not listed in this document.
